Experiment with Materials and Space
The uniqueness of this home is located in the exploration of cutting-edge of the material, the composition of simple geometric shapes and arrangement of space and transparent so as to provide comfort and give its owner. Concept of family residential originated from the desire to have a position adjacent to the bedroom where the family gathering area likes the living room and dining room, making it easily accessible and efficient.
Architectural concept
In the initial phase, the architect who cultivate the contours of land to 2.5 meters higher than the road to the rear, by way of cut and fill, a semi basemen the garage and service area. Shape of the mass of the building is dominated by the composition of cubic geometric “simple” and is located back and forth between them in a dynamic way. On the front, a set of stairs with ornamental pond plants and water to give the impression when welcoming guests on the veranda. The center of the inlet wall (input) is set back (rear) and made of transparent material in the form of glass lined with a solid wall so that confirms the “play” is an attractive three-dimensional.
In accordance with the wishes of the house, the first floor designed for semi-private area as a dining room, pantry, living room and no wall insulation and adjacent to the stairs, den and master bedroom. This area is central to everyday activities, as well as a place to entertain family homeowners, while the second plan prepared for the guest room and home theater. To maximize the visual continuity between the interior and the environment, maximizing the entry of natural light, the back wall of the house, especially on the first floor, dominated by folding sliding glass doors that open both to the south and east.
Structure Experiment
Generally different from that of residential construction, a row of glass doors are not obstructed by the presence of structural columns at the corners the building. This move is the architect of the experimental results of the structural load on the first floor building columns or rows on the second floor to the IWF iron pole on the second floor and a pair of concrete columns and steel sticking out in the yard. The living room is sealed with a row of glass doors to rear terrace also has a ceiling void and again to the second floor.
Another pioneering work done by a team of architects is a scale. Stairwell walls are covered with a patina of wood fiber patterned with darker colors, while the outer wall of the glass so that the width of this area has become a strong element in the construction.
Another effort is the creation of double brick walls and wooden venetian blinds in the master bedroom to reduce the solar heat. The architects are also a lot to show and mix and match colors and textures of natural materials in the production and contrast. For example, the alloy stones and stone stolen dark basalt and course textured with a kind of travertine or fibrosis serpegiante exotic and have a slippery surface.
